Writer, IMPACT

Yoel Gebremariam is a graduate of the University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and discovered his love for the script and the screen during his sophomore year at the University. His first screenplay, IMPACT, won the Kasdan Award for Creative Writing, one of very few to do so with a first-draft submission rather than a rewrite, and the Sloan Student Discovery Prize in 2024. In his spare time, Yoel enjoys running, baking, and of course, watching movies, looking for the next idea he wants to put to a page.
