Writer/Director, Acids

Tamar’s medical drama, ACIDS, was on the 2024 GLAAD List, named the 2023 Black List Sloan Fellow and was accepted into the 2023 Black List x WIF Feature Residency. A published and produced writer, Tamar’s socially relevant scripts sprout from her culturally Jewish upbringing and have placed or finaled in contests such as Nicholls and The Austin Film Festival. Tamar founded the storytelling workshop Mothers Unleashed LA and ran a theater company where she co-produced seven full-length plays, including her own. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from Stephens College, and graduated from Northwestern as a pre-med Theater Major.
