Director/Co-Writer, Mabel

Nicholas Ma is an award-winning writer, director and producer based in Brooklyn. His first feature, Mabel, co-written with Joy Goodwin, received the Sloan Prize and is in post-production. Previous credits include Suite No.1 Prelude (director, New York Film Festival) and Won’t You Be My Neighbor? (producer, Focus Features). Nicholas was a 2019 DOC NYC fellow, 2020 Film Independent Fellow, and MFA from NYU Tisch.
