Writer, The Feather Detective

Mayanka Goel is an Indian screenwriter, journalist, and artist. She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2022 with an MFA in Dramatic Writing. Her feature script The Best We Could Do received the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Writing Award in 2022 and was a semifinalist in 1497 Feature Lab (2023) and the Academy Nicholl Fellowship (2023). Her pilot The Feather Detective won the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Production Grant in 2023 and was further developed in the Film Independent Episodic Lab where Mayanka received the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Development Grant.
