Katie Kirk is a Brooklyn-based playwright & screenwriter originally from Northwest Indiana.
Katie’s received an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation screenwriting grant and the Mary Marlin Fisher Playwriting Award. They’ve been a finalist for ABC Signature’s Emerging Playwright Initiative and the Gary Garrison Ten-Minute Play Award, among others. Katie’s had plays produced and developed with Theater Masters, Fresh Fruit Festival, Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, Shared Manifest Entertainment, the University of Kentucky, the Kennedy Center’s American College Theater Festival, and more.
