Jessica Brillhart is a filmmaker, writer, and theorist known for her pioneering work in immersive media and emerging technologies. She was the Principal Filmmaker for Virtual Reality at Google and later led the Mixed Reality Lab at USC’s Institute for Creative Technologies. Her projects span architecture, cinema, music, and design, including the immersive audio platform Traverse. She’s a recipient of the Advanced Imaging Society’s Distinguished Leadership Award and was named one of MIT Technology Review’s 35 Innovators Under 35. She is currently an Executive Creative Director at Hecho Studios and the founder of the mixed reality studio Vrai Pictures.
