Claire Brooks is a creative producer with a 10+ year background in producing original films, live events, site-specific installations, immersive theater, and branded experiential activations (apps, websites, games). She is a detail-oriented and solutions-driven self-starter, known best for leading collaborative teams of writers, artists, designers, and technicians in the execution of exceptional storytelling experiences. Claire began her career in creative advertising by coordinating the global and domestic marketing campaigns for The Lorax and Despicable Me 2. From there she moved into brand strategy, where she planned and executed buzz-worthy experiential, interactive, and digital campaigns for the private and public sector.
Claire received her MFA from Columbia University and since graduating, is now fully focused on independent film production. Currently, she is focused on producing narrative work with her producing partner, Jeremy Kipp Walker (Half Nelson, The Big Sick). Together they oversee the newly launched Netflix Emerging Filmmaker Initiative as external producing partners and their next feature film, Dog Gone starring Rob Lowe, will hit Netflix in 2023.
