Bárbara Soares hails from Brasília, Brazil. She worked as a staff writer on the Emmy-winning Apple TV+ series Ghostwriter and is a 2022 WGA TV Writer Access Project honoree. As a Latina raised on three continents, she uses her unconventional upbringing as inspiration for timely tales about technology, belonging, and the immigrant experience, usually with a sci-fi and horror twist.
