Synopsis
Fountain of Youth is about a lesbian Korean American Ph.D. student, Katie, working on a human trial for reversing Alzheimer’s Disease by transplanting young blood into the brain. When one of the patients turns out to be her estranged homophobic mother who doesn’t remember her, Katie has to choose between her activist girlfriend and the maternal love she has yearned for.
Bio
Ronak Shah is an independent writer/director and recipient of the Motion Picture Association of America award for two years running. She moved between Mumbai and New Jersey as a child and considers herself as much Indian as American. Ronak spends most of her time making movies, hiking and painting.
