Writer, DRIFT

Trà Nguyễn is a theater-maker and script writer based in Vietnam. Her theater works are typically extremely slow-pacing, seeking to reside in the quieting space of attention. Her screenplays on the other hand reflect the osmosis of sciences in modern life, portraying the human struggles to connect in the digitally webbed world. She earns an MFA in Dramatic Writing at Carnegie Mellon University on Fulbright scholarship, and now develops her own initiative in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), contributing to the infrastructure for experimental theater-making via training and critical discourses.
