He graduated from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) majoring in Digital Media Arts as an undergraduate, and Columbia University (CU) majoring in Directing/Screenwriting as a graduate. His works focus on themes related to human beings, human nature, and human society, and he tries to dig out the mystery and meaning of them. His audiovisual styles are diverse and vary according to the theme/subject.
