Writer/Director, Talk Black

Destiny Macon is writer, director, and civil engineer who graduated from USC (Columbia) and UCLA. She launched Hush Girl Productions and won a ~$30,000 grant from Indie Grants to fund her short film, Talk Black, which was a finalist in ABFF’s HBO short film showcase and is streaming on Max. The screenplay for Talk Black (the feature) won ScreenCraft’s comedy competition, the Sloan Writing Fellowship Award, and participated in the NYSAF’s filmmaker workshop. Currently, her screenwriting manual, Weird People Cool Concepts, is available on Amazon.com and her latest short film, Abysmal, is on the film festival circuit.
