Joy Goodwin’s screenplays have been selected for the Film Independent Lab, the Athena List, and the Austin Film Festival Awards (comedy finalist). She has directed documentaries for ABC and A&E, and co-produced independent films distributed by Fox Searchlight, TWC, Lionsgate, IFC, and Magnolia. She’s written journalism for The New York Times and The New Yorker, and has published a book with Simon & Schuster.
