Writer, Nightingale’s Bloom

Mary Elder has been honored with 2018 and 2021 Hedgebrook Screenwriting Fellowships, the 2019 Athena LA Labs Fellowship, and the Disney Fellowship in Screenwriting. Her screenplay, Nightingale’s Bloom, was a second rounder in Sundance’s 2020 and 2022 Feature Development Track. Her screenplay, Flower Girl was purchased by Warner Bros. Pictures. Mary is a graduate of Cornell University. She lives in Seattle.
