A French cosmopolitan expat, Ariane studied literature in Paris and London, before graduating from the American Film Institute in Screenwriting. Passionate about art and history, Ariane’s screenplays explore the complex female condition, between glory and tragedy, with dedicated protagonists who fight society’s constraints to find freedom. When not writing period dramas, Ariane is probably exploring the absurdity of life in unapologetically dark comedies.
