Synopsis 

In a rugged fishing village at the end of Long Island, three adults find their livelihoods, marriages, and identities upended by opposing responses to the climate crisis. When Noah, an oyster farmer stuck in the past, casually denies the findings of his wife, Bella, whose scientific research indicates the warming waters and low dissolved oxygen levels will decimate the local scallop population, she escapes into an affair with Celeste, a spirited local chef. But when the entire scallop harvest washes up dead, the three are thrown back together to stave off complete economic and ecological collapse—and let some of the old ways die.
